UMBC tabs StatMonitr for media stats in 2016-17

CATONSVILLE, MD. --

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County has partnered with StatBroadcast to utilize the StatMonitr media stats platform to provide real-time statistical data from its athletic events to members of the media and university staff during the remainder of the 2016-17 academic year.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County, known as UMBC, is a public university located in Catonsville, Maryland, located approximately eight miles from the city of Baltimore, and is a member of the University of Maryland System. Established in 1966, it has a current enrollment of more than 13,850 students. The UMBC Retrievers sponsor 19 varsity sports at the NCAA Division-I level and compete in the America East Conference.
