Colonial Athletic Association selects StatMonitr for its 2014 Basketball Championships

RICHMOND, VA. -- The Colonial Athletic Association has reached agreement with StatBroadcast to utilize its StatMonitr media stats system at its 2014 Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.

The CAA Basketball Championships will be held March 7 - 10, 2014 at the Baltimore Arena in Maryland. Each tournament will be an eight-game single elimination tournament featuring all nine members of the CAA and the winners will receive the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA Basketball Tournaments.

The Colonial Athletic Association is a Division I athletic conference featuring nine schools located across the East Coast spanning from Massachusetts to South Carolina. Founded in 1979, the CAA was originally known as the Eastern College Athletic Conference South basketball league until it added championships in other sports in 1981; the conference currently organizes championships in 11 women's sports and 10 men's sports, including football at the FCS level.
