PASADENA, CALIF. -- StatBroadcast and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association announced today that they have extended their partnership for another two years to include the 2013 Rose Bowl, 2014 Rose Bowl and the 2014 BCS National Championship Game.

StatBroadcast has been providing a media stats feed and stat monitors for the Rose Bowl Game since 2010. The Rose Bowl will host the Big 10 and Pac 12 champions in its annual bowl game in January of 2013 and 2014. On January 7, 2014, the Rose Bowl will also host the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. This will be the final BCS Championship game played, as the FBS subdivision will transition to a four-team playoff model following the 2013 season. The Rose Bowl, which has extended its contract with the Pac 12 and Big 10 Conferences will play a part in the new Bowl system, though its role as a semifinal or championship host is as of yet undetermined.

StatBroadcast’s technologies have been used at four BCS National Championship games since 2007 and are also used at the Fiesta Bowl and the Sugar Bowl; StatBroadcast has also reached a tentative agreement with the Orange Bowl to use their system for the 2013 Orange Bowl and BCS National Championship Game.
